As one of Guardian Computer’s IT Support Specialists, David provides frontline support by answering clients’ calls, chat messages, and help-request tickets. He is one of the first people clients will speak with when they experience problems and takes pride in providing excellent customer service, both remotely and on-site. David also specializes in data backup and recovery, monitoring, and managing all client backups. Prior to joining Guardian, he worked in IT support for a local hospital.

David was drawn to the IT field by a lifelong love of technology. In addition to being an avid gamer, he showed an affinity for computers, even teaching himself to build his own computer with only the help of YouTube videos. After enrolling in his first IT class, David immediately fell in love with the field. Today he remains a self-starter and enthusiastic learner, having earned his HDI Support Center Analyst certification and set his sights on obtaining additional cybersecurity training from InfraGard, an FBI-partnered program for information sharing and analysis.

When he isn’t working, David enjoys taking road trips, especially to attend music festivals and concerts. David still enjoys gaming, especially playing Super Smash Bros. Melee for the GameCube, which he loves for its highly individualized and expressive gameplay.
