Guardian provides and manages the cloud infrastructure your systems run on — sizing it to what you actually use, managing the Azure resources around it, and including backup of the servers running on it.

Too much capacity costs money. Too little costs performance.
Cloud spend rarely goes up because of a decision. It goes up because a workload was provisioned for a peak that never arrived, a test environment was never switched off, or storage was set to a tier nobody has revisited since.
It goes wrong the other way too. A workload grows, nobody adjusts the sizing, and performance suffers while everyone looks for the problem somewhere else. Nothing in the platform pushes back either way.
That's the job. We size the infrastructure for the work it's actually doing, and we keep looking. When a workload needs more, we say so. When it no longer needs what it once did, we reduce it — you shouldn't keep paying for yesterday's requirement.

You Don't Need a Server to Use It
Cloud hosting isn't only for virtual machines. Some businesses use it for file storage, or to run a SQL database, and nothing else — no server, no operating system to maintain, just somewhere reliable for company data and applications to live, with backup and file recovery included.
How It's Priced
Cloud hosting is priced in bands based on usage, separately from Managed Server. One host can run several of your servers.
That separation is deliberate. It means you're not paying server-management fees for infrastructure that isn't running servers, and you're not paying host fees that scale with something unrelated to what you're using.
A note on scope
Cloud Hosting covers the infrastructure and its configuration. Management of the servers running on it is a separate service. Full server restoration and recovery from a major event are scoped separately, as are moving you into the cloud, architecture projects, and disaster recovery planning — all work we do as well.
