As a Senior Technical Engineer and IT Consultant at Guardian Computer, Jeremy’s role includes network and server maintenance, research and development, and supporting Level 1 Helpdesk technicians. Before joining Guardian, Jeremy earned his Associate Degree in Science and Computer Networking Systems from ITT Technical Institute and then found a job in the IT department of a statewide school district. Now, Jeremy has been providing innovative IT solutions and satisfying clients for over 11 years at Guardian Computer, developing particular expertise in healthcare industry technology needs.

According to Jeremy, the most challenging part of providing IT services in the healthcare industry is creating solutions that are both sufficiently secure and also easy for clients to use efficiently in their daily work. To meet this challenge, Jeremy works to strike a balance between the regulatory and technical aspects that each project brings, ultimately providing clients with a secure, user-friendly product. He says his biggest professional accomplishment has been helping Guardian Computer build its client base and reputation as they’ve expanded, helping the team to remain at the forefront of both existing technologies as they evolve as well as those that are newly emerging.

Jeremy has always been interested in computers, problem-solving, and helping others, all of which drew him to the IT field. He loves studying technology and interacting with new people, both of which are focal points of his job at Guardian Computer. Jeremy prides himself on his customer service, ensuring that he is available for clients when they need him and offering patience and clarity throughout the lifecycle of any project. He believes in empowering clients by helping them understand the IT issues they are facing so they can avoid similar problems in the future. Jeremy’s respect for his coworkers, his clients, and himself is what motivates him to always put forth his best effort.

Jeremy is a huge football fan and can often be found watching football—professional or college, he loves it all—in his spare time. Music is another passion of his, and he likes attending music festivals when he can. Jeremy enjoys a diverse range of board games and video games as well, but lately, strategy-based video games have captured his attention.
