It’s not much of a stretch to say that Ryan has spent his entire life around computers. He doesn’t remember a time when he wasn’t using one. For Ryan, it felt like a natural fit to study computer science at Tulane University. Before graduating in 2015, he began his career by performing IT troubleshooting for a local construction company. Today at Guardian Computer, he manages the Helpdesk, oversees the company’s IT Support Specialists, and handles the company’s automation and scripting.

Computers are a second language for Ryan, who is adept at programming in PowerShell, PHP, JavaScript, and more. His biggest professional accomplishments include his Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification and the Malwarebytes integration he wrote for the remote monitoring and management (RMM) software that Guardian uses, making Guardian Computer the first company to use MalwareBytes with that data. Ryan is a natural builder, problem solver, and teacher, with a passion for efficiency.

In his free time, Ryan’s enthusiasm for learning and creating has given him a diverse array of interests. He’s an avid chess player, a frequent cook, and host for his friends (making big dinners for around a hundred people each month), and currently in massage school. After he’s done with that, he says he’ll start taking piano lessons. When Ryan does take a break, he can often be found spending time with his rescue cats (Joel and Seamus), reading a book (most likely sci-fi or fantasy), or watching cartoons or anime (especially Studio Ghibli movies).
