Allison’s bright personality brings humor into finance. Her laid-back and cheerful demeanor is the perfect match for Guardian’s stress-free company culture. On a day-to-day basis, Allison manages the financial and accounting aspects for the company. This includes the typical administrative tasks such as reconciling accounts and paying bills.

What makes her position not so typical is how Allison plays a role in the ever-important inventory system. Guardian Computer handles large clients with many employees in need of equipment. She works with Peggy Perez to repurpose, reset, and redistribute critical inventory for clients who have recently hired new employees or said goodbye to staff.

Although Allison is only a month into her new position, she can already see the benefits of her new experiences in the tech industry. Gaining an appreciation for spec nuances and new technology has helped hone her financial proficiencies in systems like QuickBooks.

Finance can be a tedious job, scouring spreadsheets for minute errors and omissions. To give her brain a break outside of work, Allison can be found knitting on her hand-crank loom while listening to podcasts. And, she looks forward to getting up on the improv stage with Omar Abdullah!
